LiveOIO-1.0.9 with Advanced Form Controls and Data Import
OIO Project Posted by Andrew P. Ho on Tuesday March 30, @11:09AM
from the easier-than-it-looks dept.
With special thanks to Richard Wang and Marcus Lopes who have worked diligently over the past 4 months, we are pleased to share OIO-1.0.9 with all of you. This is an upgrade release of the Open Infrastructure for Outcomes (OIO) server software, packaged on a remastered Knoppix 3.3 2004/02/16. This release contains both new features and bug fix. Screenshots below are taken from the LiveOIO CD. Simply boot up and click on the "LiveOIO" bookmark.

New Features:

  • Conditional question item skipping, a much anticipated feature, is finally a reality. Together with parent-child constraints (answer to question A constrains possible answers to question B) and mandatory answers, the new "Advanced Form Controls" module delivers sophisticated data collection logic / skip pattern to web-based systems without coding. This reduces the need for writing custom Javascript code.

The "Advanced Controls" are 100%-backwards compatibility with pre-1.0.9 OIO forms and data.

  • Import Data via graphical, 100% web-based interface. Any delimited text will do.
